This is an externship with the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office that includes a classroom component. Students will work in the Attorney General’s criminal expungement division. Student will review court records, draft pleadings, and consult with prosecutors to determine an applicant’s eligibility for a criminal expungement. Classwork includes reflecting on the work students perform while at the AGO, the need for the services provided, legal issues regarding criminal expungement, and other areas of law that directly impact the student’s work.
