This intensive course covers e-discovery and deposition pretrial litigation practice. Students will learn the scope of available discovery, document production rules and procedures, how to efficiently conduct e-discovery computer based searches, how to effectively conduct and defend depositions, and related ethical issues. Students will study and discuss pretrial rules and law, analyze case problems, draft document production and e-discovery requests and responses, conduct critiqued deposition exercises, and compose litigation support documents.
