In this intensive simulation course, students will learn how lawyers use the law to help shape deals and resolve disputes. Students will gain hands-on experience in reviewing critical client documents, identifying and researching business and legal issues, counseling clients in person and in writing, negotiating, drafting, and working collaboratively. The course also addresses professionalism in the deal-making context. Students will research and write on a range of related doctrinal issues, including business law, international law, employment law, and other legal topics. Grading: Letter graded.
