Students will gain an understanding of the complexity of food safety law in the United States. Ensuring food safety from farm to fork is a growing challenge for food and beverage companies as regulatory requirements and supply-chains become more complex. This course will provide students with a practical understanding of key agencies (federal, state, local), statutes, regulations, and supporting regulatory guidance in food safety, enabling students to guide clients on navigating food safety issues.
